Mark has been a part of the family child care since it opened in 1993. He started out as a substitute and has evolved into a partner and co-licensor in caring for and teaching the children. He has always enjoyed working with children. He continues to grow his professional development by taking the Parent Aware training requirements that are above and beyond the required 16 hours of licensing trainings. Some of these that he has completed include Child Development, Authentic Observation, The Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, Strengthening Families, and Assessment: Gathering and Using Information. In addition to caring for children, Mark is a self-employed carpenter.
