Providing Quality Licensed Child Care Since 1993
Located in Watertown, MN
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
We are a Four-Star Parent Aware rated program. You can learn more about this at www.parentaware.org This website also has information about food and nutrition programs, low-income support, covering health care expenses, housing assistance, health and safety and licensing, serious injury information, affording the care you want, and more statewide resources.
We provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks through school age. We have an area of our home that is devoted exclusively to child care. We offer a year round preschool program for ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. We use a curriculum called Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum, along with a Parent Aware approved, research-based KEP assessment tool called Teaching Strategies GOLD. Assessments are completed twice a year and shared with the parents. Activities are planned to meet the individual needs of the children in our care to prepare them for kindergarten and life. We attend weekly story time and activities at the library. We also enjoy taking walks to the local parks and playing outside on the playground in our backyard.
We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, which ensures that we have nutrition training and serve well-balanced meals. We are both CPR and First-Aid certified and have training in SUID/AHT (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and Abusive Head Trauma), Child Restraint Systems training, along with many other trainings in a variety of the Minnesota's Knowledge and Competency Framework areas.
If you are interested in meeting us and taking a look at our child-friendly environment, please either call, text, or email us to set up an appointment.
